  • Position Overview

    Role Description

    We are seeking an experienced Academic Manager to lead our Academic team.

    • Sourcing educational courses for the clients as part of the Capacity Building Team.
    • Manage relationships with our academic institutional partners
    • Sourcing additional partnerships with colleges and universities.
    • Maintain accurate records of the client’s academic plans & activities.
    • Oversee the strategy of the Academic Development department and work closely with the Academic Development Co-ordinator to ensure that the clients are receiving adequate academic support and progressing In their development journey.
    • Provide guidance on academic matters to team.

     Role Duration

    About You

    • Experience with educational institutions, securing partnerships, working in a team, and who has an interest in social justice/supporting people affected by human trafficking and other forms of gender-based violence.
    • While experience working directly with academic institutions is not essential, a person who has good teamwork and networking skills & experience with working with businesses/within a charity is highly valued.

    Role Description

    We are seeking a Career Manager to be responsible for:

    • Management, growth, impact and projection of the Career Development department (which helps survivors of human-trafficking/gender-based violence to secure jobs/career opportunities).
    • Overseeing the Career Development Team, ensuring that tasks are effectively carried out and that the service users are being supported to achieve their career goals.
    • Partnering with Corporate Institutions for the development of our Internal Career Development Program, which enables survivors of Human Trafficking and GBV to have access to Internships, apprentice programs, mentorship, and job opportunities.

    Role Description

    The Engagement Support Co‑ordinator will play a key role in delivering our corporate engagement strategy as part of our #EmpowerHER campaign. This role focuses on follow‑through after corporate engagement opportunities and the main responsbility will be to ensure smooth information flow between teams, coordinate follow‑up actions, and support ongoing engagement to nurture long-term partnerships. The role may also involve representing the organisation in meetings with corporate partners.

    • Experience in an administrative, events, fundraising, or corporate engagement role would be desirable.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to track multiple tasks and deadlines are essential.

  • Organisation Overview

    Role Description

    We are looking for volunteers to support the Social Awareness Department in organising our external events such as our Legal and Pro-Bono Summits, our quarterly wellbeing events for our clients (survivor’s of Human Trafficking, and our Lunch and Learn and Webinars hosted at Companies (Firms, Banks and Businesses)).

    The specific duties depend on the event you are put in charge of, but may range across the below:

    • Work directly with the Social Awareness Supervisor and Manager at the start of the year to develop the strategy for the quarterly wellbeing activities for the year as well as the Legal and Pro-Bono Summits, and our Corporate Events.
    • Liaise with our partner charities and survivors to communicate the dates and logistics for the Wellbeing events, and maintain a good relationship with our partner charities for future events.
    • Liaise with Companies, Businesses, and Vendors to arrange the logistic for the Wellbeing events.
    • Liaise with Companies (Firms, Banks and Businesses) to arrange the dates and logistics pertaining to the Founder giving seminars at these Corporations and build good rapport with the Companies.
    • Collaborate with the Sponsorship Team to secure sponsorships for the events & put together LoveBoxes (goodie bags) for the survivors and with the Social Media Team to capture content from the Wellbeing event.

    • The project would span several months, but there’s flexibility to work around your schedule.

    Role Requirements:

    • Experience working in event planning
    • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, including teamwork
    • Experience in virtual event planning would be an asset
    • Knowledge of well-being and desire to promote well-being
    • The ability to effectively motivate and manage volunteers

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated Legal Manager to lead our legal volunteer team in delivering high-impact support to survivors. This role requires both strategic oversight and day-to-day management, including leading weekly legal team calls and guiding Legal Assistants on casework, research, and survivor-facing tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership

    • Chair and lead weekly legal team calls, ensuring clarity of objectives, progress updates, and team cohesion.
    • Provide guidance to Legal Assistants on casework, ensuring alignment with trauma-informed and survivor-centered approaches.
    • Assign, track, and review legal tasks (e.g. research, CICA applications, country evidence drafting, legal letters, or advocacy support).
    • Maintain an overview of active case matters and deadlines in collaboration with the Foundation Director
    • Case Oversight
      • Review initial client case notes and ensure appropriate next steps are taken by the team.
      • Liaise with pro bono law firms and referral partners as needed to support survivor pathways.
      • Escalate legal issues requiring specialist input to the Foundation Director or external legal advisors.
    • Team Development
      • Mentor and support volunteer Legal Assistants, fostering a collaborative and values-led working culture.
      • Identify training needs and contribute to internal capacity-building where appropriate.
    • Compliance & Ethics
      • Ensure all legal support remains within the scope of provisional assistance and does not breach regulatory thresholds for legal advice.

By providing tailored guidance and holistic support, the department helps survivors navigate their journey from trauma to triumph, ensuring they have the tools, confidence, and resources to rebuild their lives. From securing legal rights and healing emotionally to gaining new skills, education, and meaningful employment, the Reintegration Department fosters a transformative process that equips survivors to reintegrate into society with dignity and self-sufficiency.

    Role Description

    The Re-integration Manager will be responsible for the following:

    • Implementing a process for empowering clients in their next steps on the reintegration journey.
    • Stakeholder management with other department managers in the Empowerment Program, providing key milestones of how we reach independence for the survivors we work with.
    • Manage relationship with service users and the carers to encourage and build a sense of empowerment and independence to prepare them to live according to all that has been instilled within them throughout their journey.
    • Define and support the service users caseworker in the last steps of support process.
    • Host and arrange celebration dinners for each service user as the graduate from the Empowerment Program.

    • The Wellbeing and Safeguarding manager handles ensuring the mental and emotional wellbeing of the clients supported by the ROMILDAMOR Foundation.
    • Facilitating referrals to NHS Mental Health Services and coordinating access to therapy and counselling resources tailored to the individual needs of survivors.
    • The Lead will also oversee the safeguarding framework for the organisation, regularly updating the Safeguarding Policy to reflect best practices and compliance with relevant legislation.
    • Conduct annual trauma-informed training for all staff and volunteers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, effective support to survivors while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
    • Ensure that wellbeing and safeguarding remain central to the Foundation’s operations, fostering trust and resilience among both clients and team members.

    About You

    – The ideal candidate for the Wellbeing and Safeguarding Lead role should have a strong background in mental health, social work, or a related field, with expertise in trauma-informed care and safeguarding practices.

    – You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with survivors and team members.

    – Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records, updating policies, and coordinating training programs.

    -The candidate should have a thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation, mental health referral pathways (including NHS services), and experience in delivering training.

    -Proficiency in managing confidential information and handling sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism is paramount.
